Geoff Puckett, founder of EffectDesign, served as the Creative Producer of Times Square 2000. The event was a 24-hour celebration in the heart of New York City, bringing together the entire world through live entertainment, music, sound and light effects and satellite television images from across the globe.

Puckett brought together a diverse team of designers and craftspeople from points across the U.S., creating the largest public event in New York City's history. The vision was grand, but the $7 million budget required tight coordination. Volunteers worked alongside industry professionals to breathe life into 160 puppets, sound designers created a discreet 16-channel sonic environment, and dancers interpreted cultures from dozens of countries.

The scale of Times Square 2000 was enormous, but behind the scenes this production came together because of the teams' passion and creative spirit - the ingredients EffectDesign brings to each of its creations.
