What if someone created a building where nature was integrated directly into the architecture? Not merely a "green" building, but a place that brought nature right into the middle of an urban neighborhood.

This concept design creatively merges modern earth-friendly construction and operation technologies with ancient Anazazi cliff dweller motifs, cool waterfalls and live vegetation. Commissioned by a Berkeley, CA developer, this illustration studied a viable solution to bring nature's forms into a city block where older, boxy buildings dominate.

The project remains in the concept phase, pending the developer's decision as to which design he prefers to present to city officials.
